Harvard Institute of Politics National Campaign Conference

This past weekend two UT Votes officers Catherine Benavidez and Chelsea O'Hara along with graduate coordinator Arielle Cardona attended Harvard University's Institute of Politics National Campaign Conference. More than 20 other schools as part of their National Campaign Program attended Saturday and Sunday events that included speakers Trey Grayson, Gene Corbin, Teresa Vilmain, Aaron Naparstek, Pete Zimmerman, John McConnell, and Robert Mann.

The theme of this year's conference was "Change Agents: Tools for Effective Advocacy." Saturday and Sunday included time for speakers as well as opportunities to exchange ideas with other college representatives. Did you know The University of Florida has a similar program to Hook the Vote called Chomp the Vote?
