Early 2013

On September 24th, 2013, UT Votes participated in National Voter Registration Day by tabling on the West Mall. All passerby were welcome to either register in Travis county, change their registration address, or use a take-away mail-in registration for a separate county. This September marked the 3rd annual Tribune Festival. The Tribune fest featured speakers such as TEd Cruz, Greg Abbott, Wendy Davis, and Julian Castro. The Anette Strauss Institute sponsored a student lounge where students could come charge their cell phones and laptops, pick up a snack, answer some political trivia and sign up for information on the Texas Conference for Civic Life, and register to vote!
