Say what?
We lovingly cut out paper hearts at our last meeting and will be encouraging passersby to stop and write a quick note to their favorite politician, no matter who or where. And then we'll mail them all out.
It's super cool!
However, we will be taking precautions on what we mail across the country:
Please do not write a note to Sen. X and tell him that he should be impeached for stupidity, among other things, and that if he supports SOPA you'll occupy his office.
Do you seriously think we will send that card along with a note from us,"Hi! UT Votes at UT-Austin wishes you a Happy Valentine's Day!"?
Think again.
That being said, we hope to see many people sending notes with positive messages to our elected legislators nationwide.
